Women’s Political Participation and Leadership Final Report — Columbia Assessment

Source: USAID | Year: 2023

Under the Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance—Learning, Evaluation, and Research II activity, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) tasked NORC at the University of Chicago (NORC) with implementing five country-level assessments on women’s political participation and leadership (WPPL) based on the latest iteration of the WPPL Assessment Framework. The WPPL Assessment Framework aims to identify key barriers and opportunities to advance WPPL that exist at the individual, socio-cultural, and institutional levels.

This report discusses the results of the Colombia WPPL Assessment. These results are intended to guide the program strategies, activity design, and allocation of resources aimed at advancing WPPL in Colombia.
